  • Anthrofuzzenic - Fuzz Pedal

    Enter the world of Anthrofuzzenic!

Together with Fuzzdöden we have developed our own little monster - the Anthrofuzzenic. Get your own copy, and lay your hands on the Orochen-tone - before it’s out of stock. The pedal is limited to 20 copies and will be made upon pre-order, by Fuzzdöden, by hand.

It´s a fuzz pedal that works as good on guitar, as on bass. With the volume on max you will get quite a lot of boost to really make your amp sound like it’s burning! With the volume control on your guitar you can make the fuzz more gated.

Try putting a boost or an OD in front of the Anthrofuzzenic pedal. That way you can get an extremely fat, roaring fuzz-distortion.

Also try using it without power supply! For real, this will create some really broken tones.

about

Over the course of 8 songs, Anthroposcenic tells the story of a world plunging further into individualism, isolationism, and consumerism, where the few who attempt to do things for the greater good eventually get trapped in the viscoid webs of the capitalist machine. The album deals with questions about humankind’s existence, our moral compass, how we live in relation to the environment and the psychological effects of living in a consumption-first society.

It has been suggested that the very last part of the current geological period should be called Anthropocene due to humankinds’ extensive impact on Earth's ecosystems and geology. The title of the album, Anthroposcenic, is a call to contemplation about our current state of affairs.

With deeply poetic, evocative lyrics against a soundscape that blends elements of dark folk, post-rock, and black metal, Anthroposcenic meets the sadness of the dystopia we’re building with a steady gaze.
To amplify the messages of the album, the band has collaborated with four celebrated Swedish photographers — Pelle Ossler, Johannes Berner, Niklas Lövgren & Christian Thunarf — to pair an original image or “scene” with each song.

The album is also available in the form of 300 exclusive, hand-numbered copies on transparent vinyl where all of the artwork is printed on inner sleeves and inserts, making it possible to choose the preferred cover through a slide-in window on the front cover. The vinyl can be purchased through Suicide Records.

Performed & produced by Orochen (Emil Gustavsson, Rasmus Lindblom, Hampus Olsson & Jonas Mattsson).
